Quick Look: Nintendo Land

This looks pretty good. Mario Chase especially. But there is no way in hell I am going to cave. Nintendo has to prove themselves before I dive again for one of their consoles.

Oh my god this game is gorgeous and Link to the Past music...I'm on board. Also Super Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime 3 had "real" voice acting. 

This definitely interests me a lot more than Wii Sports ever did as a game, but as far as mainstream appeal goes, I don't think this will have the same impact.

Man....this game is making me miss the wonder that Nintendo was. Didn't get a Wii becuase of dumb motion controls, but still enjoyed that Nintendo feeling on my DS. Wii U seems interesting, but not $400 interesting.

I have to agree that Luigi's mansion is about the only thing that doesn't look mind numbing.

I really hate that Vita ad.

Now you can run and leap six and half feet up through the air without your feet under you in slow motion (if you have that drug from the Judge Dredd movie), and break your vita, AND your hip, for no reason while playing a crappy COD Black Ops spin off. And if that's too crazy for you you can squat and wander around freaking people out at a bus stop untl a cop asks you what you are doing and charges you with loitering or causing a public disturbance. Go sony! Marcus just wasn't dumb enough. For Vita you had to go even lower!

I thought this looked like absolutely no fun... until Mario and Luigi. Both of those look like a blast.

The music and visuals in this game are fucking fantastic.

Holy shit, that is some of the best produced music I've heard from a Nintendo game.

Hearing Brad talking about how he wishes he had put his mii on this system is pretty funny considering what we learned in the livestream.

Brad is not very good at playing games and talking. Also he is looking at the Gamepad screen. Your telling me you can hold a conversation while staring down at your cellphone while playing a video game?

The best thing in this game is the menu music, none of the minigames seemed like they would be fun for more than 10 mins

After the initial disappointment about this game at E3, I'm really surprised at how good a critical reception NintendoLand is getting. Mario Chase and Luigi's Ghost Mansion look like a ton of fun.

If nothing else I really enjoy watching the guy run and jump around in the hub world.

Oh my god I can't even express how happy I am with Nintendo that they used the straight-up Link to the Past music for the intro menus to that zelda game. No remix or anything - Just LttP audio and that's wonderful.

I still love you brad! and I suck at video games too.. we can spin yarn together.. screw it i'm selling my 360.

Jeff dislikes most Nintendo products/ things post late-GC and Wii era. He seems to still really like Nintendo music, though (e.g. Nintendo Land music, eShop music, Rhythm Heaven, to name a few instances).
