An HOUR?! Before watching, I wonder if it's because they're burning through puzzles easily, or getting stumped for a long time.

I was thinking that too. But this is kind of two games in one I think. Professor Layton typical affair and then London Life which seems like an Animal Crossing type game.

I'm prepared to see the guys fail miserably at the puzzles.

"Spectre" in the title of the quicklook is spelled differently

Are there story spoilers of unwound future in this quick look? cause i'm actually playing through that right now but i really wanna watch this

That bridge puzzle was horribly simple. I kept screaming "don't do it!" when they went 0-4.

Taking time to solve a puzzle is faster than brute forcing it. At least, it is for me usually.

I've never played them, but I always though they were 'japanese france' not 'japanese england'. Don't know why, now that I think of it.

Love listening to Vinny plow through a game, but man watching them "solve" these puzzles was so frustrating!

Silly, perhaps, but I was disappointed when I booted up the game and found they had replaced the traditional Layton theme. Love that song.

Love these games. Super laidback, great artstyle. They're classy in a way few games are.

The "Last Spectre," huh? So this actually comes after Mass Effect 3 in the continuity?

This was depressing. I'm staggered at how long the very first puzzle took.

The voice of Clark reminded me of War from Darksiders.

Actually the game takes place in Japanese France. Hence the accordion music...

I love Layton Quick Looks because people go nuts in the comments.

I like how this was one of the dirtiest quicklooks I've ever seen. I think Vinny may be cheating on his wife with Emmy, he couldn't stop talking about her. To be fair, the longer I watched, it felt like we should fight over her.

That first puzzle. This is the first time I've ever really experienced the "screaming at the monitor" moment in a QL.

"I hate paper!" had me in tears

An hour long Layton quick look? Oh boy, I bet there will be a half hour of head scratching over one puzzle.

I felt like Patrick really got into the quicklook groove with this one. I think it helped he wasn't the one playing and worrying about making sure to show every little thing.

What an excellent QL - really fun and entertaining commentary there guys! Also Emmy is the best - fuck that Layton moron if there isn't an exceptionally good reason for her not being his partner in the future.
