Quick Look: Shadows of the Damned

This is depressing.  Mostly cause my 360 broke today.  I'll likely miss this for a bit, and won't get to play my Catherine preorder upon release.  The only good games are Japanese games, as rare as they are.

I really really hope this comes out on PC. The idea of missing out on a Suda51 game is making me very depressed

I love this game and I'm not even a big Suda fan. I think I'm going to have to pick up No More Heroes: Hero's Paradise, though.

Mostly enjoying the game so far, although I definitely agree with Jeff about feeling unsure when pulling the trigger, even 6 hours in. I just hope that in the end, at the very last door, Johnson tells you that you need to fuck a horse to open it

This QL sold me on the game much more than the review.  Man it looks entertaining.

Wow, this game completely came out of nowhere for me. Honestly, I probably won't get it, but I love that a game like this exists.

This game is so enjoyable to watch that like Brad I could just sit there and watch someone else play this.

I was sold on this game the day they said Suda, Mikami, and Yamaoka were working together. It's one of my personal dream teams and I'm glad they delivered.

This game looks amazing. I have to buy it now.

I went to three different gamestop's (I had $100 credit on my points card) to pick this up for my dusty 360 and two of the three never heard of the game and didn't have it in stock! This the day after it's release! The third gamestop also had never heard of the game and only had ONE copy in stock! Which turned out to be the display copy. Wtf? I picked it up any way, and I love it. Just strange that it was so hard to find at gamestop. For the record, I did stop by best buy just to check and see if they had it and I wasn't going crazy, and they did.

Loving this game so far. I'm with Jeff on the aiming, except that I had the good sense to turn the sensitivity almost all the way down so that it could feel as much like Dead Space as I could make it. And now, I'm getting instant one-hit-kill headshots almost every time.

So yeah, anyone worried about the aiming, just turn down the sensitivity the second you can and you'll be right as rain. Fucking awesome game.

I just bought this game, awesome quick review.

Yeah I'm not exactly the hugest fan of the developers (I don't dislike them, just don't like them like their fans do), but I'll be damned if I don't want to play this real bad.

The bit where Jeff tries the wear the hanging woman for a hat made me laugh so much, especially at the fact that pretty everybody would've done the exact same thing and not told anybody about it out of embarassment. xD
