This game is some of the most fun co-op I can remember playing, so good. Will lead to some great videos here if they try it out.

As a person who tries to play these games as stealthily as possible, this is very cathartic.

There is a Zombie Army game made by Rebellion, the same developers. Its kind of like Left 4 Dead but with Sniper Elite mechanics. I did not enjoy it even though I love the regular Sniper Elite games.

These games are dumb and great. I'll pick this up eventually.

Also, I'm gonna need that Vinny/Dan co-op to happen.

I liked the Zombie Army off-shoot games, but the thing about them is that you only have, like, 10 days to play them before the community dies, so if a new one is coming out for this game, make sure to get it right away!

Im surprised on how well Dan played in the first 20 or so minutes doing actual stealth.

Man, I love this franchise and its spinoffs. Even after all this time, the X-Ray shots are still stupidly satisfying, and the little bits they add with each sequel keep it interesting. It's the kind of game that sticks to its formula without much deviation, but it works for them and I hope they keep doing it. Just big, dumb fun.

Coming off of the Horizon quick look makes this game look really dated in comparison.

Surprised Dan didn't know about the Shooter show because it's promoted heavily on his wrestling stories.

I won the first Sniper Elite from a email contest things years ago. I couldnt get into the game because it was like super hardcore realistic. I though about getting 3 because for awhile my local gamestop had the special "ammo case" edition for real cheap for awhile but never got it.

You guys should really try the co-op, whether it is Dan and Vinny or Alex, or somebody on the west coast.

Dan's totally playing right, i always start these games with 100% stealth in mind, but 3 or 4 missions in they always put you in situations where stealth is incredibly difficult, at which point i start to play a lot louder and you realise that they give you the traps, tools and weapons to deal with it when it does get loud. It's always after that point in the game that i change my thinking of these games, they arn't stealth games, they're war games.
Stealth as much as you can or want, but in the end Karl is a sniper, not a secret agent, and he's got some testicles to shoot.

The co-op in these games is a lot of fun! The juxtaposition of how serious a WW2 setting is against the skeleton destruction and co-op goofing off is the kind of silliness that you don't see a lot of in video games these days.

Love this game series. I try to go for patient sniping but this run & gun approach is totally valid too.

Would very much enjoy watching a co-op video series.

Would be cool to see the co-op version of this just to see if it's something me and a friend should pick up to play together.

"The good guys vs. The Nazis"

These games are always super fun and great to play. 1,2,4 are awesome while 3 is my least favorite of the bunch. This one fixes most of the issues in that. The most enjoyment out of this series is playing on the Sniper Elite difficulty and pulling off a headshot from 500m away with no assists.

Recently finished this and hope they keep making these but get out of WW2 or go into the Pacific theater.

@cikame: I found the best way to play is spot most people, then take a couple of shots and then switch place. You are then always at a different place than were they are looking.

Is it just me or does this one look worse than the previous game? It's so washed out and the textures are blurry where V3 and Zombies had some fantastic lighting.

With civilians and disguises this game would oddly look similar to a Hitman game. Well, that's a pretty big difference.
