Quick Look: Sonic Forces

It's alluded to quite a bit in this quick look, but Sonic is ... for children, always has been, and will continue to be.

What the rabid sonic fanbase actually want is a time machine back there respective Saturday morning cartoons with cereal eating childhoods.

If I could put you in charge of designing the customisation options for this game, I would. This is the fuel for the fire behind characters like HOTWHEELSMASTER69. This is what we need.

If a future 'Sonic' game took the character customiser from this one and paired it with a storyline and characters written by whoever's in charge of the Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account, I would pay whatever amount of money Sega asked me for in exchange for a copy of that.

Also looking forward to when they cave and do a 'Sonic the Hedgehog' multimedia shared universe, if only so we get that hard-R 'Shadow the Hedgehog' Netflix series. Forget 'The Punisher', Shadow's got no deceased family motivating his actions, he doesn't give a solitary fuck.

'Rogue Warrior' with Shadow the Hedgehog instead of Demo Dick, still voiced by Mickey Rourke. Fight me, I don't know.

Also-also, the fight between Infinite and Silver reminded me of Mew vs. Mewtwo from 'Pokemon: The First Movie'.

Also-also-also, in that same cutscene, the backing music having vocals reminded me of boss fight music from 'Metal Gear Rising'. If Platinum got their hands on the 'Sonic' license...

The HasbroDP-moment is maybe the funniest ting to happen on Giamt bomb this year so far. Every now and then I have to see this ql just for those few minutes.
