@alex: Don't worry, i guess the change from xbox one to PC makes the game harder. Things like having to equip out outfits before equipping a new one (thus needing two slots open), and making sure that you're in range of the guard when you attack them (so that the guard doesn't get free hits off while you're still navigating towards him) are pretty janky mechanics that can easily fuck you over.

BTW, after talking about Demolition Man, which references Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie, why was Escape Plan not mentioned in the list of Prison Movies??? Jeeze guys.

Oh man. The Yahoo answer stuff near the end makes me just want a MBMBAM-style podcast with Vinny, Alex, and Jeff.

This game looks pretty cool, but I'm still not clear on the mechanics around what Alex is doing. Is he trying to beat up guards to the point of a particular prompt that would allow him to not get shot out there? Seems kinda disjointed to me.

I'm going to have to choose Friday for my go to Ice Cube movie. Friday gets bonus points for all the great references to it in The Boondocks.

12 Monkeys the show is actually pretty clever at times. It probably won't last due poor ratings though.

I am still amazed. Games set in prisons look like other games set in prisons. I am glad you didn't miss that.

@oppai2: I remember it being free with a magazine, YS probably. My memory's a bit hazy but seem to remember you could trade stuff (mainly ciggys) for escape equipment but the easiest way out was an all out assault on the guards, known now as 'doing an Alex'.
