@r3beld0gg: People don't give Nolan North enough credit. His strategy for becoming a popular voice actor was to be fun to work with so he'd get hired again. So yeah, a lot of his characters end up just being requests for him to be him, but like you pointed out, he's also a super talented dude who's capable of producing extremely unfamiliar voices.

I think @blipp18 especially undersold him by calling out Spec Ops. He did some incredible work in that. He starts out the game on a pretty familiar note, but the further into the game you get and the more messed up things get, the more distressed his voice and the voices of his squad gets. Starting out in typical Nolan North fashion is what sells it given where his voicework ends up in that game.

I have STILL never finished Spec Ops: The Line, despite having started it THREE separate times (so I know the beginning very well lol.) But I watched the quick look recently and had too look up Jeff's awesome reference that Christopher Reid (Kid (high top) from Kid 'n Play (for us old asses)) voiced a character. I also didn't know that that was Nolan North. I really have to dust off my 360 and crank that bitch up.
