I like this mode, it's a nice addition.

Love this mode, playing this whilst listening to podcast got me from level 32ish to level 50 over like 3 or 4 days. I love Titanfall but I'm not always in the mood for PvP, but I don't have to be "on" to do this mode yet I still have tons of fun!

Reinstalled titanfall to play some of this mode last week, and I have to say it is actually a lot of fun and a solid free addition to a game that needed it.

I can have a japanese voiced Titan!? I need to get this game soon!

Just waiting on the campaign patch before I pick this up.

I think this looks cool. This game didn't hit the mainstream like EA wanted.

I was going to make a silly joke about this game having more story than Destiny. But then I realized I had heard that joke so many times I don't think its funny anymore.

I might start it back up for this. This was one of those games where I did SUPER BADLY against human players, always ranking the lowest, so maybe this will be more my pace.

Also, I actually kinda like the style and world of Titanfall. Really hoping for some single-player or more co-op stuff in a future sequel.

Played a bit of it, it's a good mode for if you want to just go against AI with some friends. Kinda wished the waves get longer tho.

I just bought Titanfall yesterday (its 25 for gold members) and have really been enjoying this mode.

Yikes UI overload. That map takes nearly a quarter of the screen...

I genuinely forgot that this game existed.

I wonder what went wrong with Titanfall. It seems to hit all the notes that make a modern shooter successful and innovates as well. I know the biggest point against it for me is no competitive matchmaking mode for like 6v6, but i don't really see that as a problem for other people?

The mystery of Titanfall's failure is one that's interesting to me.

This mode got me back into playing Titanfall on the PC (It's $15 right now on Origin), but the player numbers on it are pretty dire. I haven't had trouble getting into a game of this mode, but there were less than 3000 playing overall on a Saturday afternoon, it only slightly breaks 1000 on a weekday evening and there's barely anyone playing any mode outside of this and Attrition with the map pack playlists typically having zero players in them.

Thanks for the quick look. This mode looks really fun. Will have to jump back into Titanfall before the community goes away "sadly".

Titanfall won't recover any hype with this addition anymore than Destiny's add-ons will. It's called first impressions, and both games ultimately didn't live up to the massive hype surrounding them.

And Call of Duty AW will officially kill this game.

I added them all up, so at the time of the recording there were 9,519 players worldwide, which seems pretty terrible if you wanted to get into this game now

titanfall's still rad and i don't get the absolute hate some people give it for some reason, but i do agree it could have used more content and maybe padded out the leveling a bit.

Been playing this mode quite a bit, and have been having a great time. There's basically no reason to use anything other than the smart pistol, though. You basically kill minions 5 at a time instead of one every few seconds or so.

Game still looks really cool from the outside. I hope the sequel ends up coming to the PS4.

I love the new Frontier Defense co-op mode, it's a great addition to the game. I usually go with the Smart Pistol, Arc Grenades, Cloak, and Guardian Chip for this mode. I also think a Stryder Titan with the Triple Threat or Quad Rockets is most effective. Having your AI titan guard the harvester while you take care of the outer areas is also a good strategy. If anyone want's to add me to their friends list on Origin for some Titanfall action on the PC, my Origin ID is the same as my user name ;)

I can't believe those other players quit in the middle of Jeff's game. I play on PC and have never had that problem. Don't think I've ever lost a game completely in this mode either. Probably because the people I've played with actually understand that you should learn from your mistakes, and not just bail out at the first inconvenience, while screwing your teammates in the process.

Gosh all those waves of enemies bearing down on you relentlessly. It's almost like some sort of Attack on Titanfall.

It's a bummer that Titanfall has floundered so rapidly. Conceptually it's fantastic but actually playing it, something is just missing. Or apparently it is, based on its popularity. I wonder how it'd be doing right now if it had launched in the state it's in now. Then again, I feel like its lack of solid single player campaign was it's biggest down[titan]fall. Merp! Maybe it's just too fast for its own good. Maybe the graphics are just a little too muddy. Or maybe it's as simple as not having a campaign that paints its players into a universe. Maybe multiplayer-only $60 titles are always destined to fail.

Man the mobility in Titanfall was so damn thrilling. I kind of want to return to this, but I feel like I can't muster enough desire since the content wore thin on me after playing so many hours at launch. Seems like a really great addition to the game, but just wish it was sooner.

This damn game is still so fun to play. Not in long stretches, not super frequently, but when I do play it's enjoyable.

Arena Horde modes.

Still a thing to release as DLC in 2014.

The Horde mode was a free update, at least on the PC. The only thing that Titanfall has charged money for are new maps. If it were more popular, Titanfall would actually properly be lauded for the amount of stuff it gives for free via updates. These include new game modes, new cosmetic options, new voice packs for the AI, and new Burn Cards.

As someone who has racked up 320+ hours of Titanfall amd has never stopped playing it since its release, I am never not amazed by the excellent level of support that Respawn have given the game. While I've never had any real problems getting into a game, it's obvious (and disheartening) to know what is probably my GOTY is not as beloved in the wider community. But goddamn do I still find it to be such a superb shooter, and this mode has been such a cool addition.

Can't wait for Deadly Ground mode!
