It's really great for the person holding the camera, however. Inability to hear everyone but the camera holder leads to me turning the volume up on every volume knob I have to hear everyone else, and then getting my ear drums exploded by Ryan because he's like, 300,000 times louder than everything else.

I wonder if they tried using a different steam account on those computers, maybe steam can't handle 3 different computers on the same internet connection.

@brad if one (or more) of the machines works note it's IP address, turn it off and statically assign that on the machine that isn't working.

Could be that those have rules that allow different access to the outside world due to mismanaged rules on the firewall.

My apologies. It's a dark path when you realize that having the money to spend is the only thing stopping you from having a kick ass fully armoured knight sitting in your room. It's extremely fucking expensive, but it's not as expensive as you would think at the same time. Like it's something you could reasonably save for and not this unobtainable thing. I'm going to set my goals lower however and I want to get a shield with two warhammers across it to mount on my wall, but I have yet to find a warhammer I like the look of.

I recently returned to the US after 3 years living in Korea and Japan. Currently regretting the decision of coming back, already regretting it, and looking for jobs back to Korea or Japan. As the mailer, I used to listen to the Bombcast to keep up today with the gaming news. Cost of living is high in Japan, but the peace of mind is worth it a 100%.

Oh yeah, try to get to TGS, even withing Japan it was more than 700 for the airfare and another 700 for hotel stay. If not, I would have dropped by and say hi to the guys when they were in Japan.

YES - THIS! As much as I love mailbags I hate sub-audible mumbling more. Something needs to be done about this as, quite simply, it is shit.

So I have heard that you're not supposed to use the really high quality Sake if you want to drink it warm. It changes the flavour, apparently. So low quality Sake you can serve warm and nice Sake you drink chilled. I think that's how it goes.

Also, around these parts we use a five point scale, Mr. Lang. Five points. We use all the points. I will translate your score to 3/5. Thank you for your attention on this matter. I will expect the correct point scale to be used in future.

I agree. The audio range is also huge. One person will sound fine, but then someone else will speak and you can't hear anything from them.

I work at a media outlet -- unfortunately not videogame-related -- and we recently were visited by a task force specializing in the shooting of video for news purposes. The one takeaway I got from it that is applicable to these mailbags: auxillary mics for the iPhone are very reasonably priced. (Applicable Takeaway #2: these aux mics often go hand-in-hand with specialized grip cases that reduce video jitters.)
