PLEASE play the first four games. SH4 is incredibly underrated and I want to see Jan flip out playing it. Also you can turn off tank controls in 2 so it’s so much more fun to actually play.

Also Night of the Hunter is a fucking masterpiece.

If we're talking good black and white movies, I have to shout out La Haine. Great French urban drama from the '90s that has a fantastic performance from Vincent Cassel.

As someone who hasn't played any of the mainline SH games in probably 15 years, this has been a TON of fun!!! I really hope y'all continue on to 2! The energy that you both bring to the series is dope, and I look forward to seeing what's next!

SH2-SH4 are absolutes. The rest? Eh. Personally, they fall off a cliff for me quality-wise after 4. Can't wait to see Jan's presentation.

I played up to 3, and skipped the rest except for the DH1 re-imagining on Wii, which is a whole different game but pretty good.

As someone who has never seen a full Silent Hill game besides speedruns, and also isn't much of a horror fan, this was a blast! I was with Jan and the plot seemed like kinda total nonsense for a while there, but in a way I kinda enjoyed? I dunno, the confusion I felt seemed to enhance the "mood". Totally down for you to do more.

Also, wow, people did NOT overstate how good that soundtrack is. Some real bangers and also good mood pieces, incredible stuff.

This show was super fun! Absolutely would love to see some Silent Hill 2 (maybe 3 and 4 after?). You two are a fantastic duo, and it's really cool having someone so knowledgeable about the series be able to talk about it.

Please do SH2! It's one of my favorite games ever and it has tons of goofy stuff as well!

Gotta play through till at least Silent hill 4 so you can see what some people consider the peak in 3 and then how bad it stays from then on out.
