What kind of bogus apartment complex are you living in where you have to shovel your own snow?

For future reference, if you find yourself in a situation like you were in with the spring boots on the spiked block you can jump on to the side of that block and hang off the edge, and while doing that if you just barely nudge the jump button you can hop up onto the spiked area without killing yourself.

Obviously you need to be careful because if you hop up too high you'll die from the spikes. But I can pull it off no problem.

It can be dangerous to attempt in a lot of situations, but in the wide pools where you can easily get on the same horizontal level that they're patrolling on, it's hardly necessary to bomb out the whole thing or to run away.

Patricks insistence on grabbing gold after angering the shopkeepers on non-daily runs will never cease to annoy me

And don't even get me started on his non-use of the mattock to collect extra cash when he is doing the daily

Watching him makes me wonder two things.

1) How does he do that 270 jump? (He's beneath a square, and he jumps from the bottom, around the side, and makes it to the top of the square he was underneath.)

2) More importantly, how do you hold onto something (like a shotgun or boomerang) while dangling? My character always throws it down.

Except that's exactly why I beat Remo while not making it further into the game than him.

ROOOOOPES. Makes it so easy to take out shopkeepers with good bomb angles.

He kinda deserved to die in that first run, he was making terrible buying decisions and tons of sloppy gameplay decisions.
