Great to see this back, at least if only for this one video. I don't really have an interest in Binding of Isaac and I missed that Spelunky music, might have to fire it up again, but I am sure I'd be as rusty as Patrick looked haha.

The music in OG Spelunky is so good.

My vote for the next series is still Dungeons of Dredmor. It might not be fast paced, but I think it would still make for a perfect fit.

@liquidsnakegfer9: I'm kind of the opposite. I always have a pile of games to play but never get around to finishing any of them as I too often just get sucked into a single game (Dark Souls, WoW, Spelunky, Dota, etc) for hundreds of hours.

Huh, I wonder why they removed crawling from new Spelunky. The ability to just slide down on to a ledge would be extremely helpful.

Man, only the journal? I thought speedlunky would be the difficult thing. At least, it is for me

I highly recommend people don't try to get all the achievements... filling the journal wasn't too hard. Trying to complete the game without picking up any gold has absolutely ruined the game for me.

I remember accidentally finishing the first level with like 200 gold. I was like, "hmm... this woludn't be too difficult." I was wrong. Super annoying. Dying is one thing, but "losing" due to picking up flying coins and gems? Not fun at all.

Oh dammit, you're right. I don't know how I played so much Spelunky without realizing you could crawl. I don't think Scoops realized it either.

I played soooo many hours of OG Spelunky. Then the remake came. Then I played sooooo many hours on the 360. Then it came to the PC. Then everyone started to play. Then I stopped playing and started to watch people play instead. Man, so much spelunking! Love it! (I also played insanely many hours of The binding of isaac and FTL, my kind of games I guess) :)
