It is chaotic streams like these that is the reason i love Giant Bomb.

This makes me want to play Simpsons: Hit & Run again.

I enjoyed the 30 minutes of Spongebob.

I don't get it either. I hate being negative so this "negative humor" might just fly over/under my head. At the same time I very much enjoyed Gerstfield and Mario Party Party, so I don't know. Maybe because they stuck with the games and actually finished them.

But hey, GB West might be catering to different interests and, perhaps, these streams are doing well and allow for GB East to continue creating the content I personally enjoy. Whatever the case, I'm just thankful I still enjoy most of GB's overall content, most.

There should be a penalty for not finishing a game. Like drinking a whole bottle of ranch soda.

So what was the point in this then? I agree, focus or build features around something and stick with it. Massively prefer the east coast at the moment.

I can't believe they backed out of Spongebob so quickly, and despite chat's wishes. The concept of YGFI isn't about whether or not you're having fun with the game, it's about Finishing It At All Costs. It's about despair and ennui, about stoicism in the face of mediocrity. Heck, you made it through The Bouncer. Jeff finished multiple Garfield games in their entirety.

Note: this is not an especially serious comment; I'm a little sad we won't see the rest of Spongebob, but I still enjoyed the remainder of the show. But you gotta commit to the bit, or it doesn't work!

I love you guys but this feature confused me and disappointed a bit.

This might be my favorite single Giant Bomb video of the year. As a whole Burgle My Bananas is my favorite feature, but Brad's laugh at Jan was incredible.

I enjoyed the hell out of this for some reason. I'm at the right age where I could enjoy the nostalgia trips where I have some cultural overlap with Jan and Ben, but also share in Brad's mix of enthusiastic bewilderment at some of their references that are a bit young for me.

Hey, don't really know how your process of picking games for this feature works, but it would be fantastic to see you play the old Xbox game Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (also available on PC). Remember really liking it, but don't know how it'll stand the test of time.

What's the point of this feature after Bloody Spell? Outside of the last episode, these have just been Play Dates. This feature sorta blows when it's all just one giant gag or a game that somebody loves and has beaten before.

I thought the entire premise of this show was playing through a game that you've not beaten or spent a lot of time with before, and then voting on whether or not to continue it.

I've always really disliked that cartoon (personal taste), so I'm glad from skimming comments y'all are moving on (skipped watching). Hope you play something you enjoy soon and focus on that. Maybe something that they had previously enjoyed but weren't able to try/finish! Or maybe a co-op adventure for Jan and Ben? Looking forward to the next show.

This stream is a lot of fun halfway through so far. I hope you do more Kingdom Heart ache some time, so we can get more funny animal stories.

As someone using this site more and more for MST-style commentary (and still listening to podcasts for more 'coverage-focused' things), I cannot get enough of this feature.

Oh man...Hit & Run was probably the Gamecube game I played the most of! I was too young to get GTA3, so i played the shit out of it! For one of the levels Springfield gets a Halloween makeover and it's awesome! Kinda low key want a remaster of this!

Please stop buttoning through things. Why even stream the game if you're not going to pay attention to it. Buttoning through a whole chain of dialogue and saying "okay, jokes" instead of actually listening to the dialogue is not a good joke.

Edit: also maybe cast the audience vote then fill for a minute or so to avoid influencing them. They'll probably go with whatever editorial leans towards.

Edit edit: and don't dip out on games in the middle of an episode... You finished The Bouncer. Y'all did not finish Spongebob. I don't see the point of the feature if you can just call a vote whenever you want to get away from playing it, especially if that was discussed beforehand as is stated in this video.

Some people take this way too seriously, the idea that someone would be legitimately disappointed that they aren't going to finish the Spongebob game is NONsense ! Talking about "the spirit of the feature" and how it should work.. wha. I liked the garfield videos too but not every game can be Garfield k???

This is one of the first time I've been genuinely annoyed by a GB video. The inability to do pretty simple navigation is pretty annoying and it came off like they intentionally played a game they had zero interest in actually giving it any fair chance. Like they spent FOREVER on something they should have known they absolutely did not need to do, got needlessly frustrated, and stopped.
