Oh man, so close. Honestly the last form isn't too hard, you just have to keep running.

@patrickklepek You would have completed the challenge anyways if you had opened the chest after Mom's Heart. The challenge ends there, beating Satan didn't do anything more.

Man, Satan is such a satisfying boss fight. So many stages to the fight, each more badass than the last. So refreshing after all the recent Cathedral/Chest runs I've done in the past few weeks. The Cathedral/Chest boss just isn't very interesting to fight.

This was a fun stream. Just the way he got three health upgrades in a row and the blood bag on the first try after carefully counting the spare heart drops.

If he can do that well after a week's break (or be that lucky - it's the same difference in this game), he's got this. Soon we'll have seen the defeat of every mythological underworld deity and/or psychopomp featured in roguelikes. Coming for you next, Hades.

BTW, the slow shots were actually coming from a different item that challenge starts you with, Spider Bite. It's not part of Mutant Spider/quad shot, though I wish the game told you that it gave you that also.

Yeah, Stan is a more fun fight, that screws over less builds. (Fighting ???/Isaac? Hope you don't have Cancer) Edmund's said that there will be more reason to go to Sheol in Rebirth, looking forward to seeing what he means.

To tide me over during the absence of this feature, I spent all GDC week catching up on all the Spelunky streams I missed. Incredible to watch the learning process for getting through these games. Nice work, Patrick!

Yeah, they are so much easier by comparison. Kinda bummed that the two are so similar to each other though.
