I'm glad I was able to catch this before tomorrow's stream.

Yup, the Candle is ridiculous. Crazy damage, can hit normally invincible enemies, goes through enemies, AND recharges in a few seconds instead of being based on clearing rooms like every other space bar item.

This run was painful for me to watch as I always take flying when it is an option.

Good run though, this challenge is rough. I did it last night and then the next normal run got the x-ray specs. I think the game felt sorry for me.

Patrick: please stop bombing fortune machines asap. They drop more than just trinkets. You can get crucial soul hearts and tarot cards also from them. It seems you've written them off as "not worth your coins" and I implore you to give them a chance. :)

I hope he does Large Marge next, as I don't think he's gotten an XL floor yet (or did he?), and those are fun.

Protip: The fat fly that shoots two projectiles, those won't hit you if you're standing still, same for the heads the jumping heads that shoot two projectiles, stand still and they'll miss you every time.

With next week's release of FTL's free expansion, I am kind of hoping he wraps Binding of Isaac up soon and goes on to FTL! Not that he's said definitively what is next, of course, but FTL would be nice.

(Not that I don't love him playing Binding of Isaac! I'm also wondering how well FTL would work with streaming. Some of those runs can go on for a while! But at least it has a save feature.)

FTL is an obvious one, but maybe not a daily? I don't know. It definitely has the right balance of hard to get side goals besides the objective of getting to the end.
