Does anyone have a link to the chalice dungeon run Jan mentions at the start of the video? I don't see it on Twitch... can't get enough Bloodborne Identity.

@jan please never stop steaming this. defintiely my favorite feature currently airing. i dont own a ps4 so this is the only way ive been able to exzperience this game.

I spent over 200hrs in them to get every weapon and rune but I'm crazy.

Jan the rifle spear might not seam that good at first but its strength is the 2 hand charge atk so all the gems should be to increase charge atk dmg and thrust dmg i's one of my top 3 weapons to use for most boss's.

@djredbat: Thanks duder. I did all the chalice dungeons too... enough to get the Platinum. Bloodborne is a top 5 for me. I love watching Jan play through it.

If you end up not streaming Bloodborne anymore I really hope you keep playing it on your own time! I get the feeling you're out of your initial slump after making so much progress the last couple streams, but I can also understand these games being super stressful to play in front of an audience.

(But I really DO love this feature!)

All I'm saying at least one or two people in chat said they would sub if Jan beat Shadow of Yharnam first try and.....Jan the man held up his end of the bargain.

I can't believe he beat Shadow of Yharnam first time he walked in the boss arena, posse or no. Love the series. It's almost making me throw my Bloodborne disc back in my PS4.

The electric boss that Jan fought unlocks the Spark Hunter Badge, which allows you to buy the Tonitrus weapon. It's my favorite and worked best for my playstyle, but I don't recommend Jan use it. It's durability is so bad that it made me learn this game has a durability mechanic. And Jan seems to like 2-handed way more than I did.

Jan, I can't stress enough how proud I am of you for sticking with this game. And yes, you are basically at the point where shit gets even realer (or surreal-er?) This may be my favorite game ever. No joke I have Eileen the Crow tattooed on my shoulder. This was my introduction into the Souls genre as well and I've played every Dark Souls but only really loved DS3 and that may have to do with From Software taking cues from Bloodborne to speed up the combat?

Anyway I can't say enough about this game. There are maybe like 5 games in my lifetime that completely reframed my ideas about what games COULD or even should be, and Bloodborne is the most recent example of one.

Also, you're honestly doing way way better than I did when I began MY descent into madness, so keep it up, duder!

Jan, you should consider doing at least one more episode. You are about to hit a really interesting milestone in the game.

Thanks for the streams Jan! You've inspired me to finally play Dark Souls III, the only souls game on PC I've yet to play.

I'm still holding out hope that Bloodborne will make its way to PC someday.

I'm in the endgame and I never noticed the Stump Messengers. That explains all the accessories for them because I was like WTF is that for?

Anyway, @janman this was a really good run! Shadows of Yharnam took me several tries to beat but that's because I did it solo and rocked the Saw Cleaver. I didn't know you could summon 2 NPC phantoms for that fight. But then again, From Software wanted to make the fight fair for offline players since that fight can get bad in the second and final phases if the Shadows aren't taken out in quick succession. That was straight up clutch play.

I hope you go back to the snake forest between streams and get the items you missed since there's a lot of useful stuff in there and where the aliens are. Also, the shady looking guy in the tower upstairs with the corpses is worth taking out. Hint: use the doorway and poison knives. You can also kill the turret gunner NPC since he doesn't have a sidequest to get his outfit from the Insight Bath Messenger shop.

Lastly, remember to use the Bold Hunter's Mark to go back to a lamp if you want to cash in your Blood Echoes. It's in your inventory and saves backtracking time. I'm loving the series otherwise so please stick with it. It remains my favorite of the Lockdown streams since it's chill to do artwork as I watch (Judgement also gets my seal of approval). You're one boss away from the halfway point where things take an... interesting turn and the real Bloodborne begins. Hang in there.

The doll respawns right, is there something bad that happens because you did that that I don't know about?

There was a turning point in this episode when Jan just turned into a more well mannered version of Aris. "Doooooh"s and "What the fuck?!"s everywhere. I enjoy that Bloodborne does this to people. Gotta be honest, I was anticipating him running into every fucked up trap from the spiked log to the cannon, but he handled it well.

WTF! I did not know you could fight Shadow of Yharnam with two hunters. Took me multiple tries solo. Was curious to see how you handled it and I could just walk off a bridge right now.

It's always Party Comb.

This is my favourite area to watch other people play, but oh my god did I hate playing it for myself.
