Also, the spoiler in question happens in the first like, hour of the game so, or at least in like, one of the first cutscenes so, are you playing it now? What do you think it spoiled for you?

The game doesn't even really make a big deal the circumstances of your son's death. The bad guy is still the one who killed your son and the game and writing treat it as such.

@minipato: Also true. It's not as if this is a big "ah ha" moment where like, the game is revealing that the real monster was within you all along. No one, even really including Bayek for the most part, blames anyone but the main villain for what happens.

@sethmode: I’m not at that point in the game yet and I have played more then a few hours and I would have rather have not heard it.

@hollitz: The villain wasn't trans, nor did Ray Finkle have gender dysphoria. He killed Louis Einhorn and stole her identity as part of a murder/kidnapping plot against Dan Marino.

Also it's not really transphobic to not want to make out with a psychotic ex-football player who disguises himself as a woman solely to carry out a years-long revenge scheme.

They LITERALLY have a corrections section that you can write into, but you just couldn't help yourself I guess, right? So yeah, that's why, again, I said it was insufferable.

I mean yeah, maybe so, but that's kinda just the internet, right? As someone who absolutely thinks Witcher 3 is a masterpiece and considers it my favorite game of all time (supplanting Mass Effect which I never thought possible!), I'd definitely enjoy watching them give it a try. Who knows, maybe Dan rekindles the love he had for it while playing the first 40-50 hours or whatever. Or not, that's cool too - Dan can continue to dismiss *insert thing people are passionate about* and its fans can continue to feel aggrieved when he does so. Like I said, his passion and enjoyment on the Bombcast as a newcomer to the game/series when it first came out was a big reason why I tried it for myself. Here I am droning on about a hypothetical series that won't happen anyway, that's what the Witcher does to me lol.

TerraFormars Play on terraforming the planet Mars. Please let the gb team know that this is exactly the stuff that would scare them and entice them. Essentially we go along the path of trying to make mars habitable by using roaches because they survive in different difficult environments. We come back after planting them and noticed they evolved to humanoids. They are HUMANS with strengths proportional to ants. Dang do you guys hate anime but anime is the evolution of games at this point. strange but fun.

PS the entire time they get to the planet say we cant win and the rest of the story is saying how we need to GTFO without them following us to earth and eliminating humanity.

Kratos is the worst video game character ever created and there have been a lot of bad ones.

The Witcher 3 might be the best game every made.

Saying Breath of the Wild isn't innovative in the open world space seems ignorant to me. Which is my opinion. And everyone's allowed to disagree with me on this.

Wait what's innovative about BotW? Honestly I think the best case you could make is that you can climb anything and go anywhere, but that's where it ends. Everything else has been around since either Half Life 2 or the Wii era.

Also I always thought that DmC2 was better than all the DmC games and the Bayonetta line. Never did understand the hate for it.

SpaceX (and other private companies) are good for space travel because they bring competition to the table. Having just government/state companies be the only providers of the means to get something out in space lead to a monopoly where the prices were unreasonably high. Check out the price for getting something into space since SpaceX came into the picture (more specifically, SpaceX vs ULA costs).

I'm not going to reply other than saying that much more well-spoken people than me did well thought-out in-depth analysis videos on the topic that you can readily find on Youtube. And I know that the same goes for counter arguments.

I’d say 7.5 would be a tad high for Witcher 3. That game is horribly hindered by a slog of a middle act, bad camera controls and boring combat. It’s a beautiful game and it’s a fun world to explore but engaging in that world sucks.

Yakuza 0 kinda warped the crews perception of that series in that it’s not really even slightly about Majima. It has always been about Kiryu, and the people close to him. Kind of a shame they seem disappointed by this cause Majima was absolutely retconned into this thug with a golden heart from the insufferable lunatic that showed up from time to time blocking your way of the originals. Then again I played through these games starting way back on PS2 as Kiryu so that’s who I have the most affinity for - especially since Kiryu is actually someone that in the games has always tried to do right by the people around him.

Oh good. I'm not the only one that realizes Jurassic World is absolute trash.

Also, Jeff Goldblum is a fantastic actor. Watch his best role in Mister frost. No one remembers it for some reason (or, at least, no one seems to mention it), but he is amazing in it. It's the first movie I saw him in and I've never forgotten it.

Everything about The Witcher 3 is better than Skyrim. Don't @ me.

I don't understand the hate at all. It's a fun movie and does that very well. Not supposed to be taken very seriously. Abby likes Marvel movies and those are similarly stupid yet fun to watch most of the time so I don't see what the problem with Jurassic World is. Personally, I had no expectations for the movie and it was pretty good. Liked it better than the first one actually, but then again I saw the first one as an adult and have zero nostalgia for Jurassic Park.

I'm glad Alex brought it up, because when Vinny started listing off what they had already discussed, I was thinking exactly of those recaps of pre-movie "in-depth looks" that it seems every brand of theater has these days.

And that was followed by a casual AC Origins spoiler out of nowhere. Early in the game or not, thanks for that.

I'm with Dan; I didn't think Jurassic World was that bad. Pointless, maybe, but not a bad mindless watch. I think the second one looks like it might be actively bad, though. And I can't fathom what the hell they'll do with a third one.

Finally, I'm with Jeff: Old Bay fucking sucks. I haven't had "actual" crabs in forever (as in the break-with-a-hammer kind) since their default state is buried in crappy Old Bay, and even if you order it without, there's always a taste of it since they put it everywhere else.

I agree with Dan, Jurassic World is easily the second best in the series after the original. Jurassic Park 2 and 3 were completely unnecessary, and in parts, kind of embarrassing. While I didn't love the B plot in World about the military wanting to train dinosaurs to use as weapons, it was still fun to actually see a functional theme park with guests. Looks like Jurassic World 2 is going to continue with the military dinosaurs theme, so I'll probably rent it once and then pretend it doesn't exist like JP 2 and 3. In like 10 years, they'll do a semi-reboot again called Jurassic Universe or something, and we'll get a decent third film.

Boy this episode about Microsoft pulling out of E3 booth space aged interestingly.
