Vinny's concerns about an Apocalypse Now game felt pretty reminiscent of europeans being weary about Battlefield 1.

Can we all take a second and ask the question of "How awesome is Vinny?" I mean...really awesome right? I listen to a lot of podcasts and follow a lot of personalities online, but Vinny is by far my favorite. Super nice, funny and just all-around awesome. I'm not gay, but I feel like I might be gay for Vinny.

Battlefield Vietnam is a great game. Loved it when it came out. It had a very different feel from 1942 and helicopters in particular were awesome in that game.

I dunno, I feel like 7 and 4 are basically part and parcel. Anytime I got scared in 7 it was because "Ooohhh you're slowly creeping down a hallway then *BOOM* ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS CRAZY ZOMBIE ATTACKS YOU WOW!!!!". Like nothing in 7 is creepy besides the jump scares, which is EXACTLY what RE4 was all about scare-wise.

Call the Yakuza video series: "Battles without Honor and Humanity", which is the title to a series of highly influential Yakuza films from the 70s. Or maybe call it some kind of play on that title, like "Duders without Honor and Humanity", or something.

The theme song to those films would also make great title card music.

Thanks as always for this podcast. Dan's Stone Cold riff gave me a good laugh. Kefin Mahon does a really good podcast Steve Austin though I think Paul Heyman does the best impression. I could listen to Alex talk movies all day and in fact I have when he was still running Screened. Papa Vinny is the still best though his constant lapses in memory makes me genuinely worry about his mental health or more specifically his sleep health. I hope Bakalar gets well soon and comes backalar.

I can relate to the apathy towards Chutes and Ladders as a game to play with children. Me, my mom, and my brother once tried playing it with my young niece and she was positively soul crushed every single time she landed on a chute. It's really a negative sum game because the grown-ups aren't having fun with such a tedious game and the child is not having enough fun to justify their misery. I find that simple card games like Go Fish are a better diversion for playing with young kids but I'm sure there are plenty of alternatives that I'm not privy to it as a non-parent.

I don't remember what district Yakuza is suppose take place in but I like the sound of Fear and Loathing in Tokyo. Either that or The Yakuza Bluesa. It's worth mentioning that I'm not good at namin' stuff.

Wish I could play Overwatch with Alex because I'm getting CtR matches ending in a draw probably 8 times out of 10.

Second Son is not only the best Infamous game, it's one of the best PS4 exclusives to date.

Uuugggggh Gravity Rush 2 is soooooo baaaad, and now I can't refund it -.- Controls are god awful, story is like serviceable at best, theres nothing to it. Plus the powers are underwhelming. Sure the flying is cool, buuuuuut that's about it.

They did bring J.E. Sawyer from Obsidian on as a special consultant, so very much hmmmmm...

I thought of this too, and then thought, Yak-a-Palooza may be a better idea. Though, I haven't sent an email about it.

I had never seen Back to the Future when October 2015 was rolling around, so I got all three movies and planned to watch them. I watched 1 and 2 on back to back nights. Then... never got around to 3. Hearing how bad it was over the years, and then seeing that preview at the end of 2, killed any inclination I had of watching it. Maybe I'll get around to it someday...

I believe my childhood Blockbuster is now a karate dojo. Or whatever you call the American karate places; maybe it's not suitable to refer to them as dojos.

Maybe it's due to my skill/account level, but almost all of my Overwatch CTF matches end as a draw. Alex's experience seems like a rare one. But again, might just be where I'm at.
