I'm very tickled by Brad's misconceptions about the SC-55. He talked about it the same way a few HotSpots ago. Photos he's seen on the internet have misled him. It is not the size of a VCR. It's a half-rack unit which means it's barely wider than a VCR tape. It only weighed about 3 pounds. It also was not thousands of dollars when it was released, nor was the MK2.

What I'm saying is, go buy one Brad, they're less than $200 on eBay and it won't take up much space!

This is not the first time where the GB crew talk as if AMD hasn't put out anything in years and they hope AMD will be "competitive." As someone who has been AMD only for over a decade now, it's a weird sentiment to hear. Price is always my main factor, which is why AMD has been my choice - both Intel and Nvidia are historically way more expensive.
