Love Snatcher. Mostly for its visuals and sound track. I mean just listen to Twilight of Neo Kobe City. So good.

Played Snatcher (for the first time) on the phone via an emulator recently. It made a good commute game, except for the shooting parts which are hellish on a phone. Cool music, cool pixel art, great voice-overs for the era, evokes 1980s Hollywood sci-fi through a Japanese pulp lens as hard as Bubblegum Crisis... I'd love to see Kojima make more neo-noir. Is Read Only Memories a good surrogate? And/or should I try Policenauts?

So good! Caught most of it live; came back from work with it still rolling so was able to catch up. Love this game but yes, the interface has a lot to be desired when going back to it for replaying. I think IF Kojima can go back to this and make a follow up, then he absolutely should.

Snatcher was always one of my favorite games from the 16bit era.

If you guys are going to play Rise of the Dragon (which I would love to see) I seem to recall the Amiga or the pc versions were actually the best versions of the game. The Sega CD port looked pretty bad.

Yes sir. I have no history ever playing Snatcher or even knowing it was a Hideo Kojima joint, but once I watched that portion of the stream, I had to stop and listen to the music without the GB commentary. That theme is jazzy and amazing!

Remember in Ground Zeroes when you played as Raiden tracking down and killing Snatchers? That's all I knew about Snatcher before this and now I love it.

God that Snatcher opening theme. It's so good.

I don't think Snatcher would be one of my favorite games, but it's certainly memorable. It's a great example of what Kojima can pull off when he isn't chained to the Metal Gear series, and gives me high hopes his next game isn't just an MGS clone.

Having never seen Snatcher before, I can now immediately identify where Read Only Memories got, like, 150% of its inspiration. Luckily, ROM is actually playable and not incredibly slow. :v

I really enjoyed this preview for Metal Gear Scanlon Zero.

This was before my time so this is a total assumption, but it looks like Snatcher was pretty darn cool for the time. Hell, it looks pretty interesting now
