I want everybody to watch the Heroes of Wrestling PPV together over Skype and record commentary and reactions, posting the result as a podcast.

I've missed out on modern day pro wrestling.

Probably because I grew up in a time when they claimed it was real. When I really thought there were fights breaking out in dressing rooms because someone had offended someone else's girlfriend/manager/goat.

Then I started hearing the rumors. "Have you heard? Wrestling isn't real!" I was the tender age of eight and I was devastated. First Santa Claus now this?!

I imagine the people that like wrestling now grew up knowing it was fake, you know, like every TV show ever, so they don't have that kind of betrayal rattling around in their heads.

Now when I watch wrestling all I see is bad acting and athletic but poorly done slapstick. But that's what wrestling is all about! It always has been. It's bad, over-the-top acting bashed in the skull with violent humor and a handful of McDonalds ketchup packs.

I just wish they hadn't broken this little kid's heart with their lies... now all I can see are ridiculous men in too tight tights unnecessarily yelling into microphones held too closely to their mouths while spewing blatantly bogus bravado.
