I would play a lot of an arena fighter like that gundam game or even a moba if the made with the WWE Immortals characters. I mean, really any game with that style.

@landhawk: Well, when you see how bad WWE is, you'll realise Jeff wasn't joking and was being serious. Hopefully you got the 30 day free trial at least.

I haven't listened to the whole thing, but if they don't talk about the end of the NJPW Best of the Super Jrs. tournament then I will be legit sad. Not only one of the best matches of the year, but the story-line of Kushida finally making it and winning the big one in front of his mentor Liger, and Liger figuratively passing the "Ace of the Juniors" title over was so well done.

NXT Takeover this weekend was incredible. Especially Sasha Banks vs Bayley, which is definitely one of my matches of the year so far, if not my MOTY. The whole show was fantastic, from that random ass amazing Jushin Thunder Liger match to Owens Balor.

Standouts from Summerslam were New Day and Stewart's heel turn. Like.. 30 minutes out of a 4 hour show.

@orange_pork: The end of Banks v Bayley almost had this grown ass man in tears, seeing them all come up from being nxt jobbers to the talent they are today. It's almost a shame they are being moved up to the main roster.

Summerslam had problems, but on the whole it was a pretty good show. Tag match was great, title match was great, Owens Cesaro was great despite meaning nothing, and Brock Taker was actually really good until the clusterfuck ending. If you enjoy wrestling, for what it is or for what is was, the WWE Network is worth every penny just for the sheer volume of content on it, PPVs are kinda just a bonus.

Takeover Brooklyn was amazing minus the segments of HHH and Steph blowing themselves. And even in WCW as a kid, I never saw the appeal of Liger. Hes like a chunky luchador/ power ranger combo, except in Japan. Oh well, the crowd seemed into it

The Summerslam matches were entertaining, though I didn't care for 3 of the endings (Host interference, double count-out and the taker/lesnar unconvincingly-written fakeout). Still, I enjoyed it, and it was a great excuse to shovel popcorn into my face for four hours.

More to the point, now I can go back through some earlier Bombcasts and hear about historical matches the crew really liked, and line them up to watch. So that's something, at least.

So happy my favorite feature is back. They're doing god's work.

I miss Jared and his infectious enthusiasm.

Okay Austin I downloaded Lucha Underground this better be worth it

I couldn't disagree more. As a non wrestling fan, I enjoy the wild moments Jeff likes to hearken back too. He is fighting for the wrestling shows he wants to see.

I've just finished watching the first two episodes of Lucha Underground. Holy shit, why did no one tell me about this. this is insanity.

I haven't watched any wrestling in probably about 15 years, but this lucha libre thing sounds FUCKING INCREDIBLE

These A-holes make me want to watch wrastling. Or at least that luchador stuff.

Lucha Underground is the best wrestling on tv. if not the best tv show on tv.

Lucha Underground is one of the few good things to happen to wrestling on TV in a very long time and I think wrestling fans that aren't watching it are missing out. I have all but completely checked out from watching WWE but still try to find ways to watch Lucha Underground because the latter is far more entertaining. I'll still check in on the WWE from time to time but I'm tired of undergoing long stretches of lows just to experience the one single high associated with it, not unlike playing a MOBA game.

After listening to this episode I had to check out Lucha Underground and I have to echo the sentiments after just giving it a few youtube minutes; holy shit that product looks great.

Only just managed to catch this episode after being on holiday, was good to hear them all again. Austin was a great addition.
