Have any of you thought that Dan might be working for Gamespot? It's in the same building which will make it pretty easy for him to be in studio when they record powerbombcast?

Ryckert left GI, Jeff wondered aloud on Twitter if his "new boss" would let him keep doing ther podcast, Dan is currently looking for an apartment in San Fran, and the new editor isn't scheduled to start for a few weeks.

All of this points to Ryckert joining Giant Bomb. You can take it to the bank. It's barely even a question.

TNA still exists for the sole purpose of providing amazing terrible quality content for Botchamania.

I figured he's joining Giant Bomb...I mean...Jeff said the new editor would start in 30 days...Dan starts his new job in 30 days...Gamespot seems to be going more towards freelancers now and sticking with who they have...unless we are getting a certain Irishman and they are getting Dan to replace him :D Either way, I think that would be awesome if true.

Just wanted to say I really liked the Vonnegut reference it gave me a bittersweet smile.

I wish I lived in a city called pet-a-llama so I could pet a llama whenever I wanted to.

I don't know how much the GB guys get paid, but I'd imagine joining a smaller journalism outlet in a more expensive-to-live-in city would cause a significant income drop, so I'm not sure about the Dan speculation, as much as it sounds like they're hinting.

I will never for the life of me understand Giancarlo's mindset about how Bryan shouldn't have won the title at 'Mania.

Yes, the appeal of Bryan was the chase and yes, the WWE haven't done great things since he won the belt but does anyone remember the reaction when he was quickly dropped from the title picture after his feud with Orton? During the 'Championship Assention Ceremony' with Orton/Cena? Everyone but Reigns getting booed at the end of the Royal Rumble?

The audience was practically sabotaging WWE's own plans for the storyline and crapped on pretty much everything involving the main event. That has NEVER happened before and probably will never happen in the same way again. It was either WWE gave the people what they want or they were going to lose a hell of a lot of interest in the product.

You remember the post Raw of Miami when everyone was chanting 'Yes'? If Bryan lost at 'Mania or was nowhere near the main event, WWE would have wished that crowd was there instead of what they would have gotten.

Duke "The Dumpster" Drosee vignettes were what had me STOP watching wrestling way back in '94. I didn't make it as far to see the later videos Dan mentioned, but definitely remember his promos while on the job, saying "FUCK. THIS.", and entirely turning my back on wrestling until CM Punk's pipebomb.

I started watching wrestling a few weeks before wrestlemania. The Shield breaking up at the Red Wedding Raw broke my heart and made me question if I should continue :(

That is just incredible stuff right there. As someone who spent years regularly watching TNA despite some of its general awfulness, I found that hard to watch. I've seen angles at armory shows get better reception than that.

WWE Creative just has no fucking idea what they're doing right now... sums up a lot.

I don't know if you guys figured it out or not yet, but Christie Hemme is part of TNA's creative staff now.
That does not bode well. ..Not that TNA is any good anymore anyway, but it's not going to get any better any time soon. Also 'The Freak' is Rob Terry, if that hasn't been figured out yet.
