Moral: Don't live in SF. My sister lived their while going to school and after 5 years she was happy to leave. Besides safety, its all techies and the pricing is insane. Over 3k for a studio? Fuck off.

Trapped in the Closet is a goddamn masterpiece. What started as a tale about infidelity spiraled into fucking criminal acts and pimps and mobsters and AIDS and it's great.

Based on that video, "masterpiece" is kinda stretching it. The next time I have, what seems like, two free hours to spare I'll give it a listen to be sure, though.

Man, chapter 9 is before Trapped in the Closet got weird. Back when R. Kelly was still trying to make it sound like an actual song. Seriously though, it's a masterpiece. It's utterly dumb but god damn if it isn't amazing too.

Dunno about the story behind this one, but I believe Wasteland Kings was renamed to avoid confusion with Wasteland 2 / Mercenary Kings.

Huh! Didn't know that; that makes a lot of sense, though. And it's not like the name they chose is bad, Nuclear Throne is a great name. Just weird to see a game renamed after announcement.

If this is anything like Don't Starve then they actually mean it when they say "Early Access". The amount of stuff they added to Don't Starve since the time they decided to charge for it is completely nuts.

You can. The turrets only have enough ammo to kill 2 people, though.

@captain_felafel: Wasteland Kings was renamed after Vlambeer and the dudes from InXile agreed that it might be a little confusing with all the buzz about Wasteland 2 coming at the same time.

fwiw I think 'Invisible, Inc.' is a rad name.

It seems to do the game a little bit of disservice to run through the level as quickly as possible; the time mechanic didn't seem to be in effect on the mission so the optimal scenario would appear to be to plan out your moves as much as possible to get loot, then bail.

Of course, having said that, Dan maniacally ran around opening everything and got to safety with 82% map exploration, so what do I know?

After 8 hours, I can say that you *usually* are able to explore most of a map without the Alarm Level becoming a real issue. I feel like it's more about keeping you from just sitting around (even though it still feels weird considering it's a stealth game).

Man, this seems like a micromanagement nightmare. I was really looking forward to this game but lack of offensive options and focus on doing things fast seem very frustrating to me.

Looks kinda cool. Klei's art style rubs me the wrong way for some reason, but this looks like it could be fun enough to ignore that. Hope there's a decent story of some sort.

@danryckert if you take down a guard it will get back up after 2 turns unless you let your agent pin that guard down. Once you leave the body the 2 turn countdown starts.

My guess why you couldnt take down that one guard would be because the animation would have placed his body on the same field where another body was and that won't work.

Definitely a terrible re-naming as I kept thinking this was a sequel to Stealth, Inc. Bad idea to name this similarly to another game dealing with stealth.

When the old lady Spymaster and the cartoony art style appeared I immediately thought of Archer.

Then the closet incident happened and it pretty much BECAME an episode of Archer in video game form.

It has changed radically since I bought it (a few months back? 6 months back? I can't remember exactly when), yeah. Not quite as insanely as Don't Starve did during a similar timeframe, but still.
