This looks terrible in my opinion in almost every sense of the word. Visuals look grimy as hell, and COD style game play couldn't be any less appealing to me at this point in my life. I think I'll stick to Destiny and Overwatch for my multiplayer competitive game play.

Looks like that's not an option, that's really shitty because after the E3 reveal somebody at EA said the third person was only for "trailer purpose". I doubt we will see a toggle any time soon, because they most likely don't even have any first person animations :(

Godddd... dammittttt.

I think the fact that you lost situational awareness while embarking/disembarking was key, it gave nearby pilots a chance to think of a strategy (hide, maneuver, etc.) and just felt so right as the pilot. Titanfall 2 was going to be the first full price game I would have bought in years... not so much anymore.

no, this is different: i just found out that while you crouch or slide, your melee attack is automatically an uppercut, so you can kill people by actually punching them in the nuts.

and i think the gameplay in this seems really fun, but it does look like COD - or like a cheap version of destiny. if this had a good art style, i'd be on board

@creepingdeath0: me too...to me pre-alpha basically means the code can compile and probably boot to menu.

Aside from bastardising terms for marketing purposes. This game does look pretty great nonetheless, Titanfall 1 post DLC merge was really great and had the best advanced movement of any game. Looking forward to the sequel (and hopefully a larger population on PC).

2 minutes in and I cannot get past the menu robot. Why does it have knee pads? Shouldn't a robot that is built for combat be made out of materials that are sturdy enough that knee pads are not needed?

i'm reminded how in futurama someone must have had the idea to build robotic hobos. tinny tim is even built with a crutch, and another has a robotic bindle. why??

Screw the haters I loved Titanfall 1 and thought it was a great game and I'm glad Respawn is able to add a lot more content and a campaign (although personally I was fine with TF1 not having true single-player because the multiplayer was so well crafted). Mechs are awesome!
