How can anybody be against this show when...

Plus, mad vaping streams, the axe grinding of cigs66, and UK BANTER TIME. Come on guys.

Dude, literally the next two sentences read:

"Don't get me wrong, parts of the Playroom stuff was hilarious and absolutely watchable. I'm talking about the games they picked rather."

I welcomed the Playroom stuff, that was never the issue. The thing was that they never planned for watching the Playroom stuff, it was just a happy accident. That's the only reason people enjoyed this UPF. The things they did plan was either really plain or something they've done before. Except for Vinny's game which looked interesting.

So is that what UPF should be now? A garbage pile with games that doesn't warrant it's own quick look? That's like asking to get boring.

I liked it. But then, I pay for my yearly sub because I like UFP and the podcast and the Quick Looks and all the other piles'n'piles of content they produce, from Spookin' to Breakin'. Is UPF weak sometimes? Sure. But viewing this singular piece of content as being "what you pay for" seems a really narrow view of things.

I wouldn't want them doing this sort of thing often, or possibly even again at all, but I had my fun.

Then again, as Danny would put it, I was also getting "ripshit" at the time.

Personally, I love the videos they do where they're just riffing on weird internet shit. This reminded me of the Wii U WarioWare drawings segment last year.

Jesus...the guys break the mold of the show one time and Vinny's segment gets cut short one time and everyone thinks the site is ending or something

This feature is supposed to be random as fuck and UNPROFESSIONAL and that is exactly what it was.

Do you guys get pissed off when they watch Youtube videos too on UPF? Or that steak-umm segment from awhile back?

Opinions.. i thought it was boring like ass until halfway trough, all the fun started when Dead Nation crashed on Jeff. I haven't had to laugh that hard because of a GB video for quite a while, good job duders!

was loving the show... then i read the comments. Man i love giant bomb but man the comments always suck.

Anyway great show guys one of MY favourite UPFs...

While I do NOT understand why people are losing their shit over this episode so much (personally I thought the PS4 streams were easily the best part of this one and most of the complainers seem to have hated it), I'm also a little disappointed in the crew's choice of games recently. They barely seem interested in most of the games they played this week themselves.

That said, Cigs66 is like the Dark Souls of people.

This website is nuts. That dude was just having fun, and the internet was being mean. Giantbomb highlighted him, and the community goes out of their way to tell the dude how awesome he is. That's just amazing to me.

This was by far one of my favorite UF of the year so far! The other streams were fucking weird, scary and funny. It was like a quasi Mystery Science Theater 3000 with their commentary over other's streams.

These are the type of shows I most enjoy, thanks guys.

More time should have been devoted to the old dude playing Jump in the Fire on guitar.

Wow. One of the funniest UPFs ever! The PS4 stream was a wonderfully unexpected and hilarious diversion.

I never would have imagined that I would enjoy watching someone watching someone doing nothing. I loved it. You could have a Breaking Brad Let's Play. I loved but Ciggs but lost it when the tried to give the robot a contact high.

Yeah i just got around to watching this one today, and he seemed genuinely crestfallen when they cut away from him to go back to Cigs66 (who is badass). Rorie can be oblivous at times when it comes to interacting with the flow of the stream or the feelings of other members. It's weird because he seems extremely thoughtful (in both a caring and intellectual way) when outside the live streams. He inadvertently led the charge on that one. Anyway i thought this ended up being a great UPF, and i think they should do a quarterly check-in of what's happening around the fringes of gaming so they can focus on stuff like play room, etc.

But man.. the chat for these people's random streams are beyond vile. It's quite sad that it took the invasion of the Giantbomb chat to drown out those few horrifying individuals trolling every single stream; kudos to those who helped out with the positivity.

You mean, people can knowingly try to seem different when things are recorded ahead of time, and when a certain plan is in place that they don't have the power to change? I tend to think that livestream Rorie is more real, and, if so, that's sad, because he just paid no attention to anything that wasn't his, sans Playroom, all stream, and he clearly intended to interrupt Vinny's game, because he basically said "I'd love to be listening to this right now, BUT... (looks up at the screen) you know... (looks at Jeff, who has control over changing what's being shown) I don't have headphones". And then, as soon as it changes back to the guitar guy, Rorie's back with his face in his phone.

Like, the disrespect there. Vinny may not care for other people's choices, but he never tried to enforce changing/interrupting what someone else was showing, and always acted interested.

I just checked up on cigs66 and it looks like he stopped streaming last year. :( I know there's a possibility that he maybe switched to a different streaming service, made a new user name (which I doubt since he posted something on Twitter last month under the cigs66 name), or a mix of the two. But, it looks like he retired unless someone is better than me at internet detectiving.

Revisiting the Cigs66 stream, still gold.
