Edit: Oh god, Jason's game is the most anime thing to ever anime an anime. Besides Gal Gun, anyway.

Wow That cooking game got way hornier than I expected and I expected it to and I expected it to be very horny.

This was a really great episode. Can't quite put my finger on exactly why, but everything was clicking and in harmony. Felt like all was in it's proper place.

Kudos to everybody involved who made it possible. Looking forward to other great shows and content just like this.

The Enterprise D Viewscreen is canonically 3d (I think there are even a handful of shots in the series that demonstrate it)

Really bizarre to hear Rorie mention The Illuminatus! Trilogy by RAW. Just finally started on my copy recently. Thanks for the synchronicity shiver, it is a really fun read so far.

Rorie: "Any questions about this game, instead of Dead Cells?" Lol. I love how everyone else can just play their game and allow any overlapping conversations to occur, but yet Rorie seems to get so irritated if anyone is talking about anything that's not what he is playing.

My favorite moments are when I am saying the exact same thing out loud to the screen while one of them says it. And yeah, that moment was A+.

Related - Rorie saying nobody is paying attention to his game is some pretty good ironic schadenfreude for what he does when other people play.

Demruth, the developer of the amazing game Antichamber, last tweeted in January of 2017 but he was kind enough to reply to a DM of mine in October of 2017. I had asked him if he was working on any new projects and he kindly let me know that he is not developing anything at the moment as he is "focusing elsewhere in life." That's his choice to make and I wish him all the best so don't expect to see any more games from him!

I don't agree with @rorie very often, but Sword of Doom does rule, although since he was referring specifically to Kurosawa movies he may have meant Throne of Blood which also whips. Also the recent Takashi Miike version of Hara-Kiri is pretty damn good.

Wow, that virtual Enterprise is an impressive feat of modelling. Add life sim style mechanics and subquests and that'd be some sort of nerd manna (and a huge lawsuit, most likely).

I hope Brad revisits the starship in the future.

I don't think there needs to be a show focused on Worf, but a Klingon-centric Star Trek series could have some potential.

@anarchovelo: Do you know how does it compare to Masaki Kobayashi's original? that is one of my favorite movies, and i really like some of Miike's work, but his directing seems like the polar opposite of kobayashi's

Yeah, I think they show it off in that episode hinting at the Borg in the Romulan neutral zone, as I recall there's a shot/reverse shot conversation between Picard and a Romulan captain where the angle displayed on the viewscreen is consistent with the angle of the shot on the bridge, and I think it was also hinted at in the original Star Trek. And, yeah, the camera angles you could pick between in that menu are consistent with what has been shown in the show too, essentially the ship has 3D cameras mounted in each direction from the saucer, plus at least one set of cameras on the nacelles, letting you see what's behind you, on your sides etc. as well as look at most of the ship from the outside through the viewscreen.

Now that Jason mentions it, I'm not sure I've ever seen Geese Howard and Todd Howard in the same place at the same time either. Mighty suspicious.

Oh, and Jeff, once again, even if you don't like Payday, do give Payday 2 with VR a shot; it's very impressive if at points a little clunky with UI *which is customizeable. (who'da thought). It's no Raw Data as far as feeding magazines but it is an aim down the scope of your customized weapon and play with desktop players experience that really does make the game a very different experience from pancake which I myself didn't enjoy all that much. VR actually improved it unlike many other VR versions of games, and is far better and a fully rounded video game in full compared to the gallery shooting mess of offerings out there. At least try it, it's free if you own PD2, so why not? Not for payday's game concept's sake, just the implimentation of VR as a literal game changer with advantages without subtracting anything from the pancake game, and allowing you to play with desktop players... I have no hesitation to call it the most rounded real deal VR video game.

I'm not really into Star Trek but that Enterprise thing is amazing
