Is it just me or does the pulldown menu now only say Giant Bomb's Interview?

Thisll probably be the first game I'll actually buy with actual money for my iPad.

Fuck yes. Ultima V and Jake Solomon? Well I knew this was a great thing before but now it's a FANTASTIC idea.

The story about Jake's daughter trying to poke a computer screen was pretty funny. It is really interesting to think about what games kids are growing up with these days versus my generation.

I'm not getting Dumptruck on Firefox.

I haven't listened to this yet, but I just wanted to stop in here to say the Ultima V is probably my favorite game of all time. Everybody talks about VII, but V was where it was at.

I'm loving these quick little interviews, Patrick. Keep them coming!

Also, by coincidence I installed and patched Ultima V today but then decided to play some XCOM: Enemy Unknown instead. I'll get to Ultima V soon.

The graphics of XCOM are surprisingly poor on iOS and I don't know why, the iPad 2+ is capable of very nice looking games.

On the livestream yesterday, they talked a little bit about how the size of the game was one of the challenges. Reducing fidelity of the graphics must've been one of the ways to tackle that challenge, I bet.

That is a shame, on the bright side though these are the types of console games that should be getting iOS ports, turn based stuff is such a great fit.

If I didn't just get XCOM for free with my BioShock Infinite copy on Steam I'd probably have considered buying it if the price is right.
