God damn it i thought we where past this.. Why do we in the EU have to wait 3 extra fucking days just because we are in the EU. If its a distribution problem then fair enough, yet I have it preloaded on steam, no disc, no excuse for me having to wait 3 extra days.
Of course 2K could've just released for NA and EU on the 24th and no one would have been the wiser that NA retailers prob have the game earlier. Combined with a required Steam activation, broken street dates wouldn't matter (since the game wouldn't unlock until Valve okay's it).
I enjoy the different ways of winning the game. It's not a RTS where you just build and then kill. I like the idea of taking your civilization through different time periods, researching new technologies and conducting diplomacy. Fun times." What are the draw to Civ games? I'm not a Call of Duty only guy, I like RTS and RPG... What can draw me towards Civ 5? "

retail, obviously, but.

Actually I googled EDT to GMT but thanks anyway!
Any news on what time the demo will go up? I believe they said the same day as the game, which would be tomorrow. Any more specific info?
Nevermind, I found my answer on the official forums from 2K.

The demo will go up when the full game unlocks. So 2pm GMT for me I guess.

"More weird is when a game like Fable 3, that was made in the EU, is still coming out 3 days late there. Dude, I don't know, but I feel for you. I support universal launches.
"Has the steam DRM ever been hacked? "
All the time. I can't recall any PC game that hasn't been cracked in the last few years. I seen in another thread that the new Worms game was cracked before it was unlocked.
Anyway, sure wish I could think of a reason to work from home today.
I had hoped I could wake up early and start playing, but alas it's for 10 am. Now considering leaving the office for lunch and going home to install & play Civ.
I'm thinking that could be an unwise move. That hour lunch could easily turn into 4 hours if I'm not careful. I'm completely lacking willpower.
If the demo hasn't appeared in your region just type this in to your browser, while steam is open.
