    $20 says this is going to pay heavy influence to "Heart of Darkness", you know the book that Apocolypse Now is based on? Written by Joseph Conrad, about a guy named Kurtz who has gone native/rogue/crazy away from civilization, and needs to be "rescued"?

    I asked Greg Kasavin (producer of the game) over Twitter if the game is influenced by Apocalypse Now, and he said "you're right on the money".

    Hey at least this reworking of Heart of Darkness won't take longer than a decade to reach a final working product.  OH I WENT THERE.

     Sounds like a great idea for a video game, "Heart of Darkness" is a great book that most gamers haven't been exposed to. I'm getting really excited for this game.
