    Help rick!

     Rick mad! and ANGRY!!
     Rick mad! and ANGRY!!
Oh splatterhouse how i missed the good'ol days of destroying hoards of the undead lump like creatures that go Uhhhhh in the night. the good old Splatterhouse full of wonder green blood and a 2X4 weapons that destroyed all in its path.
But this, This is not my Splatterhouse. As i recall in the most recent installment Not counting this one, Rick and Jennifer were married and had a son David.

And as i recall she wasn't the blonde bombshell as shallow and stupid as any collage frat girl. And rick wasn't the waggon of wuss that he is now, So just in story aspect this game failed in reguards that, the other splatterhouses linked up as little story there was,
But this one just feels apart from the other games, I felt no want to save Splatterhouse PS3's jennifer. I'm not discounting all sexuallity in games but Splatterhouse is not where it should be.
i was expecting barrels of blood, old beat'em up gameplay, time restraining levels, creepy looking monsters that look like thay couldhave been in ghostbusters. Thats what i want from my splatterhouse cheesy over the top blood and the Rick man doing what he does best destroying monsters with his bare hands.

Throughout the game you'll find picture fragments that after they have all been gatherd form a nudy pic of Jennifer. i was... Suprised, To say the least when i completed one.
Again I say, Splatterhouse is for blood not boobage. Mixing that togeather makes the game weaker as a whole, If they wouldhave put all the effort into making the blood awesome the corpeses stay on the battlefield and the action less reppeditive, This couldhave been an awesome game but all those problems stated above exist.
The blood looked awesome, its reflective and it gets all over everything, Untill i noticed while i was outside that it looked like it was reflecting a light bulb, Then i went back and looked at it again, the blood only reflects a single image it only refelects a light so it looks as if its reflecting the room your in but it is not.
The action feel like God of war if it was dipped in mud and given cinder block shoes. You'll be repeating a punch punch lunge combo untill all the monsters in the room are dead.
That brings me onto the glitching, This game had to have been the most glitch filled game i have seen in a long long while.
There are points in the game that it just decides not to work, i've had to replay whole chapters because of the glitch, One point in this level that looks like a broken burned down city, there is a train blocking your passage to the next building, And then of cource monsters come out. You beat the crap out of them and get on with your life, Oh wait no you dont. While i was playing, The game thought hey this will be funny and even after all of the monsters were dead the train didn't fall like it was supposed to it just sat there with the loading icon in the corner taunting me, I sat there for a good 30 minutes trying everything i could think of to make it go, killed myself ran into a wall punched the train so fourth and so on,
The loading icon at this point was more for decoration.
This happened 5 times in the game, in different sections but same glitch.
The only redeeming quality of Splatterhouse PS3 us that you can unlock Splatterhouse 1-3 And play through these classic beasts, and Rick the crap out of monters in all of its sprited glory.

That and there is a monster in the game that you actually tear its anus out of its body through its ass so that was pretty special too.
Namco might have let me down on this one but i'm sure some of you who don't mind repeating the same moves over and over again will enjoy it. For simple fun factor it was fun to mess with but as a solid $60 game it is not, wait untill its 25-20 bucks then pick it up, the classic ones are worth that at least.
I expect people to respect the old ones enough not to crap all over what they were,
And this game Did it let you unlock them this making the PS3 game moot,
its more like Splatterhouse PS3 you can get Splatterhouse 1-3 on it,
Then to your dismay you bring it home only to find out that you have to play through the PS3 game to get to the meat of it.
    The classics.
                     Keep playing and keep living.

      A sad revamp to a classic 0

It’s been three console generations since the last Splatterhouse was released, but was the time this game was sleeping spent wisely to continue in an already known franchise or should it have stayed just a classic.      For those who are familiar with the original Splatterhouse this game is re-imagining of the original story. You play as Rick, you and your girlfriend Jen go and visit Dr. West in his mansion, obviously things do go so well, Jen gets kidnapped and you get impaled by some beast ...
