Tom Hardy to star as Sam Fisher

Just saw it on my facebook feed. Tom Hardy will be taking on the role of Sam Fisher in a Splinter Cell movie, the screenplay of which will be written by Eric Singer.

I think Tom Hardy is a fantastic actor so even though he doesn't look the part I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

What do you think of the guy who played Bane taking on the guise of world's most badass stealth agent?

Fuck yes! That guy can act his way out of anything, his range is amazing so him being involved in that project is really exciting news to read.

George Clooney could pull off Fisher, thought he was pretty good in The American. I can understand why they went with Tom Hardy though, he's young and at the moment has been in some pretty big blockbusters.
