    Does anyone know if Spore will come to Steam? The DRM slated for this game sounds ridiculous, and if it were on steam, you could reinstall as many times as you'd like.

    EA has their own download service, why would they put Spore on Steam?

    As point of fact EA does have their own download manager, however as of late they also have placed their leading title at the moment The Sims 2, and all it's expansions on IGN's download service Direct2Drive. Spore also will be released through Direct2Drive, and they are already taking pre-orders.

    EA Downloader will not have it, but there's no way EA is putting their own IP on Steam.
