    Overview

    Sports Bar VR (originally released as Pool Nation VR and sometimes known as SportsBar VR) is a VR-required sandbox game developed and published digitally by both Cherry Pop and Perilous Orbit for the PC on June 1, 2016. It was later released on the PlayStation 4 on October 18, 2016.

    Set in a large modern sports bar, Sports Bar VR allows players to play numerous bar games, including multiple versions of billiards, multiple versions of darts, air hockey, shuffleboard, checkers, chess, and Skee-Ball. Up to eight players can participate in the same lobby and can interact with nearly everything in the bar (and can spawn new objects to play with, including toy dart guns and ping pong paddles).

    The game was originally released as a VR spinoff of the Pool Nation series, restricted to only billards and darts for two players. The PS4 version added numerous improvements (along with the name change), which were consolidated with the PC version on December 15, 2016. The game later received numerous quality-of-life updates, including cross-platform support, online matchmaking, new games, A.I. game opponents, and improved VR controls.
