I'm pretty sure that was unique to SSX3 actually. Tricky uses magnetic bindings, while SSX3 has much more noise.

Eddie is unlocked in the game at a certain level as I understand it. If you preorder you just get him early. Like with lots of other preorder deals.

Also I think it should be noted in the GB QL they note that there is thousands of outfits for each character.

Really? Do You have a link or something?

Cos normally, this pre order stuff is all downloadable, and even if it's in the disc itself, you can't get access to it, without putting in the code they give you.

And about the thousands of outfits, yes, but they're all color swaps of the same outfit, and with different statistics, like an RPG.

It wouldn't be SSX without Eddie. He's had his own Uber Monday video too, people would be mighty disappointed if they watched that video and couldn't play as that character in the game.

Yeah, i just checked it online, and he was a cheat character in SSX 3.

It's just a skin you can use with any character, of his tricky look, he's not actually in the game as character.

Never used cheats, so i never knew about those character skins.

I think you unlocked some in the game, though, it was a long time ago...

But still, he was not in SSX 3, as a character, just a skin of him.

I didn't play that as much as the other games, so i don't remember.

@BPRJCTX: Just checked and he's a cheat character that you can buy. In any Peak 2 Lodge you can buy him for $40,000 under rewards in the rider attributes.

You wouldn't really call him a "cheat" character. It's just a skin. Pity there was no audio for him. But hey, he's back!
