I was a bit jealous that those Xbros had gotten some community thing up and running because the game seems to be focused a lot around RiderNet and it really seems like that kind of thing works best if you have a lot of friends on your friends list. So therefore, in this thread, I suggest people who want people to play with/compete with/talk trash with post their PSN ID here so other people can add them. I will add your name to a list further down.
If you don't want to be added to the list and potentially added by like a million duders who want nothing more than to take all your geotags and highscores, I suggest you don't post your PSN ID in this thread.
EVENT NIGHTS?
I don't know. I'll see what kind of interest there is and go from there. If I can figure it out I'll set up one of those PSN chat rooms and we can talk there at the very least.
After watching some of the global event stuff, I think it'd be very interesting to do a weekly high stakes winner takes all event on one of the harder tracks. If everyone on the list would join in with a 100 000 credit entry fee, the winner would potentially walk away with 8 million credits in one swoop, which is pretty massive. I don't know exactly how much credits you earn per run yet, but I think gathering a hundred thousand credits in a week shouldn't be a problem because if I recall correctly, you earn around 10 000 credits for a gold medal on a track in explore. RiderNet should make it pretty easy to find out IF this does happen as it'll come up as a notification, so arranging it shouldn't be too big of a hassle.
LEADERBOARDS?
Those are already in the game and will be shared through RiderNet as far as I know, but if you feel you have something extremely bitchin' then maybe I'll add something here like a weekly highlight or something.

Also, we are up to nearly 200 people on this list judging by the post count. As I don't want my friends list to be filled forever by people who I may never interact with past this game, I hope no one's feelings are hurt if I delete them from my list if they don't play the game for a long while.
