Overview
Star Trigon is an action-puzzle game developed by Project Driller and released by Namco for arcades (using PS1-based Namco System 10 hardware) in Japan on July 2002.
A spin-off of the Mr. Driller series, Star Trigon puts players in control of one of three spacefarers as they use their spacesuit jetpacks to hop from planetoid to planetoid, forming a triangular net to rescue alien creatures stranded helplessly in space.
As a one-button game, the player character automatically orbits around the planetoid before the player presses the button to make them hop at the current angle. Once they reach another one, they form a line between them, which can be used to form triangles. Players have a limited amount of time to complete the stage (due to air consumption) and must be careful not to launch their character outside of the playfield (although they can bounce off limited-use barriers).
The game later received digitally-released ports to the PC and certain iPod models in 2008, with a mobile version later released for iOS devices on September 11, 2008.
Characters
- Wataru Hoshi - The hotheaded leader of the Star Trigon team. He consumes air at a higher rate, and his speed gradually goes from slow to fast.

- Susumu Hori - Known throughout the Driller Association as "Mr. Driller". He has the fastest air consumption, but his speed remains consistently fast.
- Taizo Hori - Hidden character and Susumu's father. Known in some versions as "Dig Dug". He has the lowest air consumption, but his speed drops over time.
