I have been playing games on normal speed since I started playing StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War.  Now, I have purchased StarCraft II and I want to get through the campaign, then start with some serious multiplayer action.  The thing is, now that I am 23 and have the latest installment of SC, I want to dive into this multiplayer the right way. 
 
So I ask, what is the professional league speed of all multiplayer sessions?  Normal? Fast? Faster?  I have also heard that South Korea has a version with the option of Fastest?  Please help me out here - hope to see you all soon online!

Thank you very much :-)  But what about the "fastest" setting?  Is that true about the Korean versions?

I don't think so.

Brood War is played on "Fastest", and Starcraft 2 is played on "Faster". Both are the fastest setting for their respective games.
