    Steam wont run on my mac

    Tried to get steam on my macbook the other day and when i loaded it up after it said it was done updated it said steam failed to load: *steamstartengine(0xbffde08) failed with error 1: CMultifieldblob(pserialized):bad field - extends past end of blob. and it just wouldn't run what should i do.
