    Overview

    Steve Cortez is an Alliance pilot in the Mass Effect series. He pilots the Kodiak transporting Shepard and his squad to the objective. He also maintains the armory on the Normandy.

    If Shepard talks Steve to got to the Memorial Wall on the Citadel, Steve will reunite with old pilots he once know and it will help the War Effect. During the final assault on Earth, Steve will drop off Shepard and his squad, shortly after he will be shot down. If Shepard had convinced Steve to visit the Memorial Wall, he will radio in that he survived, if not, James will tell Shepard he did not make it.
