I thought your Ryu was pretty good tonight. It is hard for Ryu, the world is populated with too damn many and those of us who play shit loads know all his tricks.

There are too many Ry's in this world . Play Guile :)

I main Ryu and wish that I could use someone else effectively. But sadly, he is both the most straightforward and easy to use character in the roster, which is why I use him in the first place. Be a man and use Seth, Rose, or Gouken because I haven't seen anyone use those guys ever.

Rose IS my main.  She is at the top of the character usage at around 2000...then it is Abel around 1300, Cammy, Chun-li, and then Guile (like 100 uses, lol).  It is NEVER an easy win for her......unless the person is a complete scrub, haha. "

Wins are hard for Vega, comparatively Rose might as well be Sagat.

im an ex ryu player myself. i just got sick of everyone playing him. it got mad boring seeing two ryus on the screen and overall i just got sick of him. I played Chun Li a bit and decided to really give her a go, and really liked her. Now I just think Ryu is too slooooooooww

Haha, yeah I wanted to try and see where my Abel stacked against him...he won 10-0, lol.

It's not working out super well. I don't want to just quit like this but I feel like I'm not making great progress.

Yeah I think your Rog was better than your Ryu. Like you said, might just be that you have an innate skill with charge characters.

you should bait the electricity and slides. these are easy setups for bnb combos.

a lot of times if you have a blanka player following you if you walk towards him for like 2 steps hell slide, block it and bam.

alot of blanka players do electricity on wakeup too, depending on who you play as theres multiple options.

so much of what blanka does is very punishable on block. i used to be terrified of playing blankas when i first got this game.
