    A decently made game.

I bought this game because of the previous games in the series. So I can honestly say that I was disappointed in this game.

The gameplay is what you would expect from a Suikoden game, but I did not like what they did to the "Army vs. Army" battles. It went from a wide open battlefield to following lines. The same thing can be said when you are traveling between towns/cities in the game. Overall the gameplay is still close to what the first 2 had. I just wish that they made it more like the original two.

I was very disappointed in the graphics for this game. I know it came out in 2003 when the Ps2 still was not being pushed to the limits, but i wanted something more from the graphics. Konami should have been able to produce a better looking world and better looking characters to inhabit that world. There maybe some people out there that like the graphics, but I'm just not one of them.

The audio in the game was very well done. It isn't Final Fantasy caliber, but the sound just flowed with the game. I was very impressed with it. Really helped to make up for the bad game play decisions.

There is almost no replay value for this game, unless you are wanting to alter the history you are creating for your Suikoden world. Other than that I do not see any reason to play this game again.

I really did not like the battle system change. It made boss fights frustrating at times. I liked how much detail they put into the character models, and the characters themselves. Almost all the characters had a rich storyline, and most of them were important to the story. I loved the story and characters alot, but I think because of the high emphasis on storyline and characters really made the game painfully linear. Separating the characters storyline forced each party to walk a certain path, ...

Suikoden III excels in its great story and deep combat. 0

Having never played Suikoden or Suikoden II, I had no idea what to expect from this game. I expected the standard Final Fantasy-style RPG, which Suikoden III is at its core. However, Suikoden III separates itself from other similar games by adding a lot of features that add up to create a very unique game. Suikoden III uses the "Trinity Sight System" to tell its story. The story is told through the different viewpoints of three main characters. This includes an imperial knight, a young boy from...
