A must have for your wii collection

    Story:

Mario has been invited by Princess Peach to the annuall Mushroom Kingdom Star Festival which happens every 100 years, its a joyous time of the Mushroom Kingdom and nothing has happend and everyone is enjoying to see this commet, however, Bowsers doom ships fill the sky`s destroying everything in there path. As Mario goes to save Princess Peach, Bowser unleashes his power, and not only takes Princess Peach, but also takes her entire castle into space. Bowsers goal is to make in entire galaxy based by himself, and tries to destroy the other galaxies on his way. Mario valiently tries to fight Bowsers goons, but unfortunately failed, getting sent into space. He then lands onto a planet with three bunnies, eventually meeting a pink star named " Luma " who can transform into a small star used for adventuring ( which will be explained later ), and is also a child star who`s mother is named " Rosalina " who is queen of the cosmos. she asks you to help her find all the grand stars, which immedietly puts you in an adventure of a lifetime.

    Story: 4 / 5 stars

    Concept:

This is much like the previous games, it is mission bassed, seperated into 5 - 6 rooms inside a ship called the observatory. inside each room are 6 galaxies with a multiple amount of stars to collect in each galaxy. in total there is about 40 galaxies to explore. In most galaxies there are two hidden galaxies and four other ones. also, un like the other past mario games, there are more stars then the regular normal star. there is a grand star that controls and powers the observatory, and later in the game you will be introduced to the green stars, there are only three but they unlock extra levels.

    Concept: 4 / 5 Stars

    Controls:

This mario game is are controlled very well, infact, it was pretty much perfectly made for the nintendo wii, its absolutely flawless, from all the other past mario games you should have absolutely no problem for the controls. its effortless and anyone can play this. your honestly going to have this grin on your face when you play this, all the mechanics from super mario sunshine and super mario 64 are live and freely in this game. for example, there is a spin attack that is used to defeat enimies, all you have to do is simply shake the wii mote or nunchuck, whatever you are more comfterble with, and then you have done your spin attack, to do a jump you simply press the A button, the A button can also be used to swim. the Z button on the nunchuck is used to duck, while ducking you can jump to do an even higher jump. there are some flying mechanics in the game, but all you have to do is tilt the control stick at the derection you please, and is also used to walk or run. and lastly, you will have a blue cursor that is blue and star shaped, it is used to collect items called star bits. like I have said eariler, this has perfect controls, it`s the best controls on any console.

    Controls: 5 / 5 Stars

    Graphics:

As some wii fans have said, the wii has definitly raised the bar with super mario galaxy, if your playing alone, with friends or family, or even just your parents or something, they will love the design of the game, and honestly, this is by far the best looking wii game so far and still holds a record. there is so much color and though, and imagination that you can see in these different galaxies. even better, each galaxy looks completely different, and it is simply a living piece of art. there are galaxies that will make you want to throw down the controller, galaxies that will make laugh, there are galaxies that makes you just want to go replay because they are just so beautiful. and there are even galaxies that are so dastrictly in there design, that it will be a challange for even the most hardcore gamer in your family. and in most galaxies you will be going side to side, or even upside down. it is such a pretty environment and so cool to be seeing some gameplay of this game. and the boss fights in this game are greatly desingned, and are simplay out of this world.

    Graphics: 5 / 5 Stars

    History:

In this game, like I said earlier, they introduce the new character Rosalina, and those ships are from super mario bros 3, its amazing to see them in a three deminsional form. and they brought back the music. and it also brought back the two mario bros together to go platforming.

    Hiistory 4 / 5 Stars

    Sound:

The sound in this game is awsome, they fit very well in this game. and sometimes, you might even catch yourself humming some of the tunes.

    Sound 5 / 5

    Pros:

    Good Multiplayer -

    Good Controls -

Very Good Usage Of The Wii Remote -

    Good Graphics -

    Very Good Music -

The Game Of The Year Of 2007

I am absolutely sure that there will be no problems with this game.

so over all, Super Mario Galaxy is a must have for your wii collection

For the longest time, it seemed like something was amiss from Mario games. I would argue that it has been at least a decade since this “it factor” vanished. The product of this missing “it factor” was soulless gimmick titles like Luigi’s Mansion and Mario Sunshine. For awhile it seemed like Nintendo acknowledged this too, with shameless reaches at nostalgia like New Super Mario Bros and Yoshi’s 2. These were titles struggling to recreate the magic of better games by imitating them, step by s...

The Wii has its "killer app" 0

To be blunt, Super Mario Galaxy is a great game. Obviously the best the Wii has seen in this year it has been out. This is basically the game that nearly every Wii owner bought their Wii for. This is the game that hardcore gamers have been begging for. Although it is a fantastic game for longtime Nintendo fans, new and non-gamers will love it as well. For example, my six year old sister saw me playing this and asked if she could start a file. Nintendo has nailed it. The story, as in every other...
