    So I finally got around to playing and beating Super Metroid. Wow. Absolutely stunning game even after 16 years have pasted. I really should h ave done so earlier in life but sadly I never owned a SNES at that time (only a Genesis/Megadrive). Glad I got to experience such a flawlessly crafted classic. Samus is truly among the best of the best female videogame protagonists after witnessing the ending.
     
    Well with Metroid and now Super Metroid down it's time to work on the others before Other M comes out!

    I played through it for the the first time while in Japan last year. 
     
    I'll never forget those nights, playing it til the wee hours of the morning in a foreign country. It was kinda surreal.
