So I've been on the fence with SSFIV for a while now. Now that some of the community have the game, is it worth the money? I still have my copy of SFIV. Are 10 extra characters and a couple on-line modes enough to justify a $40 price tag? I'm still convinced this could have been a DLC update and charged around $20 for it. So what's the verdict community?
I don't know about you since you already have SF4, but for a person who doesn't SSF4 for $40 is a great value. You get significantly more content and better content than the $60 game. If you're still playing SF4, I think you'd find SSF4 worth it. If you finished playing SF4 in a month or two and never went back to it, this probably won't radically alter your views on it.
already enjoying it much more simply because of Endless Battle mode. I've only tried one new character thus far. It's not that start and stop feeling of hopping in a game, getting wooped, and then searching for the next game. I love to just sit in one game and have fun with a group of people....win or lose and, most importantly, not have to think while I do it or wait on finding game after game.
plus the new ultras actually add a good more deal of fun to your fights.
I was one of those people that was griping right when I heard of Super Street Fighter 4. But the game is definitely worthy of a purchase...especially at 40 bucks. If it were 60...i may of passed.
It's 10 new characters, every character has a second ultra and has been retooled and rebalanced, redone online multiplayer functionality, new multiplayer modes, new locations, bonus stages, new music, new announcer.
If you play online, you pretty much have to buy this. No one's going to still be playing vanilla SF4 for much longer.

If you don't think it's worth it don't buy it. I'd buy it if it was £60. Instead I get it for just over £20 with a free £10 shirt. I'm more then happy about the price and value.
I haven't gotten mine yet and I think it's worth it! Especially if you found SF4 fun for you and spent lots of hours in it, then it's definitely worth it. But also do consider what you actually like with the original SF4. If you just plan to play the arcade mode with just a couple of characters, then I guess SSF4 won't be worth it. But it you're planning to actually play with all the characters and be really active online, then it's worth the purchase. :)

There's no way that t-shirt can be worth ten pounds! You know it's just going to fall apart as soon as you wear it.
I might try and sell mine though as it's a Large and probably won't fit.

Yep, that's how much it costs to buy the shirt on it's own. It must be Limited Edition or something.

I haven't been charged yet or got a dispatch notice... I still hold hope though. I should get one tommorrow if it's to get to me for Friday.
@Scooper: UK? Play.com has always delivered in time for release or the day earlier. If I hadn't cancelled my order twice and finally bought it today, then I may have had it by Thursday.
