    Taiyo Academy is a school in Aoharu that consists of both a middle school and high school. The high school has around 720 students enrolled during the events of Rival Schools: United By Fate. The school is considered a bit small-scale with an average ratio of homeroom classes per grade being 6:1.

    The school's goal is to provide a free-spirited atmosphere for its students and allow them to better express their individuality. This is reflected in their school motto "A liberated school tradition that yields carefree students". The school uniform is regarded as quite conservative but the dress code is not thoroughly enforced.

    When it comes to education, acceptance exams will also take into account an individual's extracurricular activities and independence. Due to the school's method of teaching, Taiyo boasts one of the highest college enrollment percentages in the nation.
