    Very fun and user friendly

Tome4 is a very fun and easy to get into roguelike, comparing to most roguelikes.

Like most roguelike games, it is not easy to master, but in TOME4 you will learn the tricks and tactics quickly. In less than an hour you will gain some confidence.

TOME4 has dozens of races and classes, hundreds of skills, thousands of items. You start with more simple race/class options and later on more races and classes can be unlocked. Some classes are very straightforward, some are not (hence locked) .

Very highly recommended for fans of Desktop Dungeon, Dungeon of Dredmor, Dwarf Fortress, ADOM, DCSS, or any roguelikes in general.

    Cons

    - Meh graphic. I know how some people like it "oldschool style" or even ASCII(super meh IMO) This is year 2014, graphic sells, period.

    - BGM is not as good as I wish it were.

    - The dungeons are, in a way, not 100% randomly generated (for some good reasons). Not until you beat the game once.

    Pros

    - User friendly interface. Has the MMO style skillbar shortcut on the screen. Mouse driven. No need to memorize any keyboard shortcut, though it still helps a little.

    - Very well polished gameplay and game mechanisms.

    - Tons of races/classes/skills options. Each of them plays very differently. A lot of gamechanging skills. Classes are very well thought and implemented.

    - Tons of items. Yes we love loots!

    - Has an actual story line. This is usually omitted in roguelike games.

    - Nice community. Even though this is an offline game, you have the option of joining a chatroom while you play (like in MMO games). The people there are always very helpful and friendly.

    - Did I mention this game is very fun?

      The ''truest'' of roguelikes 0

While it might lack shine and style like spelunky or risk of rain , this is a massive time sinker and a joyfully frustrating adventure, while myself i haven't beaten the game yet every new area beaten felt like a huge success, the game is semi-randomly generated meaning that The Boss of X area is always the same but the loot and enemies/traps etc. in the area are randomly generated. It's a simple game by being a mainly mouse driven game (you can use wasd if you're into that sort of thing). There...
