Tekken's spin-off tag-team fighting game returns with a whopping 59 fighters from the series' history (all the way to Tekken 6).

Final 7 DLC characters released!

I know, I'm probably one of the few still paying attention, but the final(?) downloadable characters have been released, for free, on XBL and PSN.

The list includes 3 brand-new people:

  • Unknown (reskinned Jun/final boss)
  • Dr. Bosconovitch (doddering old man, fun to troll people with)
  • Violet (reskinned Lee)

Also, the 4 that were originally pre-order only.

  • Angel (reskinned Devil Jin)
  • Kunimitsu (ninja girl, only showed up in the last Tekken Tag)
  • Ancient Ogre (not-monster version from Tekken 3/Tag)
  • Michelle Chang (Julia/Jaycee's mom/palette swap)

Note: the reskinned characters have a handful of different moves but I can't see them making a giant difference right now.

So yeah, if you still have this game, they're out there right now. Go get 'em. Yeehaw.

Sweet. They're DLC strategy has been so cool for fans.

Awesome althougth I feel strangely compelled to point out that Kunimitsu was Tekken 2 as well. :P

@JZ: Seems to be a patch. I just waited for a bit and suddenly got a "New Characters Unlocked!" prompt after the title screen.

YAY! New unlocked dlc characters, now just gotta wait till this game is under $20 bucks!

I somehow read "Final FANTASY 7 dlc characters" for tekken tag tournament. Was weirded out and fascinated at the same time.

If it makes you feel any better just got a $20 voucher coupon off the ps network and heavily contemplating if I should use it now and get it for around $30 bucks or wait till Cyber Monday and see if I can get it at a cheaper price.

For what it's worth, in the Wii U Edition, all of those characters except Unknown are available in the game by default. Unknown requires beating arcade mode to unlock.
