Tennis for Two is one of the first video games ever made, designed in 1958. It was created by William Higinbotham and used an oscilloscope for a display.

I will have pictures of this in July.

Without going into details, I shall simply state that I have a very good opportunity to get as close to the original Tennis for Two machine and equipment as humanly possible. I will try to bring some phographs up to this site later this year.

UPDATE: I have an interview today with the gentleman who oversees this game as it exists today! I will be taking photographs of what I can, and hopefully recording an interview with him which will be transcribed and posted here for posterity. If you've any questions you feel should be asked you have about four hours to suggest them. I'm stoked!

LONG OVERDUE UPDATE: I finally posted the damn pictures off of a camera I believed dead. I need to go over the notes I took to add a little more to the Wiki entry. I think some of these snaps turned out pretty well. Peter Takacs, the man in charge of the recreation efforts, was a very approachable gentleman who was happy to hear that my findings and snaps would be put to good use. I'd be willing to pass on any questions people have in future, as he made the horrible mistake of giving me his email address.
