    Hey guys, I just killed the eye of cuthulu and it droped a ton of demonite ore. what should I do with it, build an axe or a sword, or just save it?

    Save it and get yourself some shadow armor later on. Nitghmare pick is a good use for it too.

    The pickaxe should be your priority. It'll let you mine Ebonstone, which is useless but you won't be stymied by it anymore. After that, the armor is pretty great, I feel like I used it a long time.
